Competitive DRESS CODE

Hair

For Ballet, hair should be arranged in a classical ballet bun, secured with both a
hair net and hairpins.
For all other classes, with the exception of Hip Hop, instructors would prefer a
bun, however, a secure ponytail is permissible.

Dancewear: Pink Tights; Black Pinch Front Wide Strap Capezio Bodysuit (Style #SE1008)
Footwear: Pink Ballet Slippers; Junior 1- Junior 3 Full Sole; Inter 1 and Up Split Sole. For Pointe, please consult Miss Marilee directly.

Dancewear: Dancers may wear their Ballet Bodysuit or a black bodysuit with bare legs or shorts. Leggings, dance tanks, or sports bras are also acceptable. Instructors prefer black dancewear. For Hip Hop, dancers can opt for joggers and t-shirts.
Footwear: Dancers should have both black and beige jazz shoes for competitions. Beige is recommended for new purchases. Jazz shoes are mandatory for technique classes. Intermediate 3 and above may require character shoes or the Grecian style shoe. Hip Hop dancers must wear non-marking, studio-use only running shoes. A different shoe may be
required for competition. For Tap, Junior 1-Inter 1 should wear Capezio Tic Tap Toe or similar, and Inter 2 and up should wear Capezio Cadence
or similar.

Dancewear: White fitted t-shirt and black shorts or leggings/tights. Use a dance belt as necessary.
Footwear: Black Ballet slippers
