Kids Etc Youth Movement Company is a dance studio in Winnipeg, Manitoba, that provides Ballet classes, Jazz dance, Hip Hop, Tap, Lyrical, Modern, Musical Theater, Adult, and Pre-School dance programs. We are Winnipeg’s largest dance studio with our 11,459 sq. ft. facility located at 505 Fort Whyte Way.

“Serious Fun” is our focus. From young children to young adults, the dance environment and dance instructors at Kids Etc Youth Movement Company encourages each dancer to develop their skills and confidence. We provide dance lessons to everyone from wide-eyed two year olds to savvy teens in an equal opportunity forum in which personal growth flourishes.

Our Remarkable Dance Studio

Kids Etc Youth Movement Company is located at 505 Fort Whyte Way. Our studio is 11,459 sq. ft. with 4 large studios, sprung floors in ALL studios, lots of viewing windows, silks, stadium seating in studio AFK for performances, lots of lounge/relaxation areas, and lunch/homework are for our students! Summer PROGRAMS

Kids Etc Youth Movement Company (KEYMC) is thrilled to offer 4 sessions of week-long camps throughout July and August, designed for children aged 3 to 12. For our more advanced students, we also host a one-week Summer Intensive August 19-23.

Our Summer dance series showcases special nights of dance, led by either our outstanding KEYMC faculty or respected guest instructors. We also provide the option of private lessons for both existing and new competitive students at KEYMC.

Moreover, every Wednesday night in July 2024, we host Open Studio Nights. This is an opportunity for dancers across Winnipeg to join us and dance freely at their own rhythm!

Finally, don’t miss our open house From 5-8pm, on Wednesday August 28 for a chance to try free mini classes!

Competitive

Dancers must be invited to participate in our competitive programs. Dancers who are interested in participating but have not been invited may request an assessment with the director.

Attendance to all required classes is imperative. Dancers that miss an excessive number of classes, as determined by the teacher and director, may be asked to withdraw from the program. Dancers must attend their Technique and Ballet classes on a regular basis.

For our youngest dancers, we offer engaging preschool dance lessons that introduce the joy of movement in a fun and nurturing environment. Our preschool hip-hop classes combine energetic beats with age-appropriate choreography, keeping little ones grooving and giggling.

As dancers progress, they can explore a variety of styles, including jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, and hip-hop. From the graceful movements of ballet to the rhythmic beats of tap, our experienced instructors are dedicated to helping students develop their skills and passion for dance.
